Description: Classifies and identifies flowering trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. Over 100 plant varieties are explored with a focus on creating aesthetically pleasing sustainable landscapes. Classes are primarily held outdoors where students will identify plants by their common and Latin names. Field studies include collecting a sample of each plant to be included in an herbarium.
